About the Images
Each wine bottle is a unique one of a kind creation as every step is individually done by hand.
There are many steps involved in creating a deeply etched beauty. Rather than going into all the tedious details, the following is a "Reader's Digest" version:
Once the artwork has been approved by you the process begins.
A "stencil" is created and is affixed to the bottle.
All other areas of the bottle are covered to avoid any unwanted over blasting.
The design is sandblasted into the glass to just the right depth.
The sand residue is cleaned from the bottle and the hand painting begins.
It is best to allow the paint to cure for at least 24 hours or longer if time permits.
Then the tape and stencil material is removed and the bottle is carefully cleaned.
It's ready for its new home!
